It's been over two months since our last blog post! We have been quite busy moving and settling into our new home. (More about that in my next post.) A few weeks ago we celebrated our sweet baby boy turning one. He has literally been a joy every moment since he was born. He has been such an easygoing and happy baby, and thankfully has also always been a great sleeper. I love every moment with him!!

We had a family birthday party a few days before he turned one. It was a special blessing to have my brother-in-law and nephew here for the festivities - all the way from England on a work-related trip - as well as one of Benji's sets of aunts and uncles (Linda and Christian) who are currently living back here, a great grandmother and a great uncle, on top of his two sets of grandparents who live in town with us. Benji is so blessed! We also had our special friends, the Petersons, come. Their daughter, Natasha, loves Benji. =)

On Benji's actual birthday, we went over to Rood Bridge Park for a bit, and that evening, we went to Baskin Robbins after dinner - more as a celebration of Claire's recent potty successes, but it was special that it landed on Benji's birthday, and EXTRA SPECIAL that a certain uncle and cousin got to come along with us!! Benji got in some special bonding with Uncle Peter while he tasted some of his first ice cream.

We are so thankful for our sweet little gift from God. We pray he grows up to know and love the Lord with his whole heart. Happy birthday, Benji!!
