What We've Been Up To

I haven't posted much in awhile, so here are some photos of what we have been up to lately.

Here, Matthew is helping my dad blow out his birthday candles on January 31st.

Claire, getting some cuddle time with Grandpa:

On Valentine's Day, the kids and I made cookies and took them to three widows from our church.

Watching the first (and pretty much ONLY) dusting of snow we got:

We went to see the baby chicks at our local farm store.  (Benefits of living in a small farm town!)

Some of the many moments of loving on Daddy.

I'm not sure what was happening here...

Claire, being her normal goofy self!

We went to the zoo last week.  Here are a few photos from there.  It was pretty crazy being mere inches from these bobcats.  It's a good thing they were so sleepy (and that there was thick glass between us).
Though this picture doesn't do justice, this eagle was probably about five feet away from us, with no fence separating us.  He was so majestic!

Matthew made the planets out of play dough.  The sun is the one in the middle.  He draws, paints and sculpts planets all day long!
Last Thursday marked Matthew's half-way point through our 100 Easy Lessons!  He is doing such a good job,

Thanks for joining us on our journey through February and March!
