A Special Week With Some of Our UK Family

Waaaaay back in October, my brother-in-law came over from England to teach a class.  He brought along his almost seven-year-old son, my nephew - Joel.  He is six months younger than Matthew.  Matthew didn't know Joel was going to be coming.  It was so fun to surprise him!

 No one from my sister's family had met Benjamin yet.  It was special to introduce him to them.

Matthew and Joel had a blast all week making memories together.

It was still warm enough back then to eat lunch outside...

We went to the Portland Aquarium one morning, and Out Of This World pizza another morning.

Getting in a little homeschooling.  One of them is more on-task than the other:

Claire was getting potty-trained at the time, and one of her reward nights happened to land on Benji's birthday.  We all enjoyed some Baskin Robbins.  Benji enjoyed his very first ice cream cone on Uncle Peter's lap.

We hope we get to see more of my sister's family sometime in the near future.  We miss them!!
