A Day at the Fair

Last weekend my parents and I took Matthew to the county fair. We mainly spent time looking at all the farm animals. You could watch cows being milked and we even saw a 2-day-old calf! Matthew loved trying out all the farm machinery that were on display, and after a hot dog dinner, we took a ride on the carousel. Matthew had fun earnestly waving and saying "Hi, hi!" everytime we glided past Grandma and Grandpa.

Petting a goat:

And a calf...

Testing out a farm vehicle with Grandma:

Matthew apparently remembers riding in Daddy's ASV just like this one, because he put his hands on his ears, indicating that he wears ear muffs when he rides in Daddys.

He got to ride in the front seat of a police car! The police sergeant let him flash the lights, move the mirror, and gave him a sticker badge.

On the carousel!

Back at home, Matthew and Mommy hard at work.
