Fall Fun

Fall is in full swing, which mainly means it's been pouring down rain for a few weeks now. (Oh, and the colors are quite gorgeous!) We have managed to get in a few trips to the pumpkin patch.
Our first trip was to a really neat farm with my friend Julia and her daughter, who is Matthew's age. There is a little train that takes you down to the pumpkins and then you take a boat back to the start. So Claire got her first train ride and boat ride that day!
Here we are on the train. Claire looks a little distressed, but soon fell asleep and slept the whole time.

Matthew and Natasha in front of the train:

Cheese!

Picking out a pumpkin for the lady.

Boo!

Last Saturday, Dan joined us as we went to a little farm down the road for a free hay ride.

There was also a corn maze, but it cost $5 a person, so we skipped that. We also came away with no pumpkins from either farm. Are we cheap or what? =)

Another outing that the kids and I embarked on was to see Daddy at work. Fall at Big Trees Today is always so gorgeous!

While Claire has been to Dan's work before, she has never taken a trip out to the fields. I'd say she was pretty unimpressed for her first visit. =)

Matthew, on the other hand, had a blast as usual!

Tonight we are going to a Harvest Party at our church. Matthew will go dressed as 'Firefighter Matthew.' I'll post pictures of that in a few days.
