A Trip To The Zoo

Dan took Friday off last week and the four of us headed to the zoo to meet the lions in the new lion exhibit. Matthew had been looking forward to this for several weeks, but wouldn't you know it - when we got there, he was way more interested in the bronze lions than the real ones. =) But we had a wonderful time!

Here are the three lions (two female and one male) sunning themselves in the Autumn sun:

Matthew also bypassed the new cheetah exhibit, which is a beautiful grassland area with waterfalls, and headed indoors to this little climbing wall:

While inside, Mommy was checking out the cheetah who came right up to the window:

A polar bear was out swimming for once. He came right up to the glass to say hi to Matthew:
