Operation Christmas Child

Most of you are probably familiar with the organization called Samaritan's Purse that calls upon people at the start of the Christmas season to fill a shoebox with toys and toiletries for a less fortunate child somewhere in the world. We have done it in past years with kids from our youth group. This was the first year we did one with our own child to help us pick the items!
Matthew and I went to the Dollar Tree and he graciously helped me pick out little toys, coloring materials and toiletries for a little boy in his age range. Everything fit perfectly in our box. Here is Matthew with the box, the morning we dropped it off at church.

Samaritan's Purse is supposed to contact us in the near future to tell us where our box ended up!
"Freely you have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8
